    The Danish Flag 1, 2019, 75 x 200 cm

    Legend has it that when the Prussians and Austrians conquered Schleswig and Holstein in 1864, they banned the Danes living in North Frisia from raising the Danish flag. In protest, the Danish farmers bred the so-called Husum Protest Pig to show their true colours that way.
